bathing suit, swimsuit
whichever you choose to call it, we all look forward to wearing it at
the pool or beach in the summer, or going to the pool year round.
Most of us look great in a
two-piece swimsuit or bikini,
for us plus size women we too can get lovely looking swim wear that can make
us look shapely.
For moms to be there is
maternity swim
wear so summers need not be long and hot and uncomfortable.
There are so many different
types of
swim wear,
bikini, tankini, one-piece, two-piece,
and all of these swimsuits suit the different shaped torso. The pattern of
the bathing suit also can make a big difference on how it looks on our
bodies, the right bathing suit can enhance our body shape making the best of
our good qualities and the wrong bathing suit can do the complete opposite.
If you plan on going to Hawaii

stripe that
goes horizontal a dark color is more slimming,
or why not a solid color with a band going
diagonally from shoulder to
opposite hip that too can make a difference, making plus size torsos look
slim. How to measure your torso for a one-piece
bathing suit
If possible, have
someone else measure you - it's more accurate.
Keeping the
tape measure straight and snug, not tight.
-
Measure from high point of shoulder at neck, down
through crotch and back up to same point.
-
For anyone wanting a two-piece or bikini take
measurements around the bust and hips to ensure a proper fit.
After coming home from the
pool always wash your
swim wear
in mild
soap, the chlorine in the public pools can and will damage your swimsuit
over a period of time.
